Our name is inspired by the Olive Ridley turtle — one of nature's most remarkable circular travellers. Born on a beach, the Olive Ridley spends its life journeying across vast oceans, only to return to the very same shore where it began. A perfect, unbroken circle.
That journey mirrors everything we believe in: what comes from the earth, returns to the earth. No waste. No dead ends. Just a continuous, purposeful loop.
At TurtleTales, we build products that honour that circle — engineered from rice husk waste, designed to last, and made to be recycled when their time comes.
Born from a Simple Question
What if the things we use every day didn't cost the earth?
India generates millions of tonnes of rice husk waste every year — agricultural byproduct that is typically burned, releasing harmful emissions into the air. We saw an opportunity: not just to reduce that waste, but to transform it into something beautiful, durable, and genuinely useful.
The result is HuskMade — our proprietary rice husk biocomposite that is unbreakable, chip-proof, BPA-free, non-toxic, and fully recyclable. Nipun founded TurtleTales with a conviction that sustainable living shouldn't be a compromise. Inspired by the Olive Ridley's timeless circular journey, he set out to prove that circular design can be both beautiful and accessible — for individuals, homes, and communities across India and beyond.
