This post is the TurtleTales-specific product deep-dive on VintageBrew + lid as a corporate Diwali 2026 gifting proposition. Product technical specifications for procurement documentation. Volume: 300ml. Composition: rice husk fibre 30-45 percent, food-grade binder compliant with IS 10910, compatibilizer. Migration testing: IS 9845 pass at 100°C. Dishwasher rating: 2,000+ cycles across accelerated testing. Microwave: not rated microwave safe. Recycling: mechanically recyclable through TurtleTales take-back infrastructure at end of functional life. Carbon footprint: approximately 0.26 to 0.30 kg CO2e per 200ml equivalent cradle-to-gate, versus significantly higher ceramic equivalent baseline. The lid specifications. Functional 3-in-1 lid designed with the mug (not aftermarket accessory). Function one: temperature seal when placed on top of hot beverages — keeps coffee or tea warm for approximately one to one and a half hours (heat naturally dissipates for drinkable temperature — team-tested at TurtleTales, formal laboratory temperature retention testing on 2027 roadmap). Function two: functional snack plate when placed to the side — raised rim design holds two to three biscuits, dates, or small snack items. Function three: coaster when placed under the mug — protects wooden desks, laptop-side positions, and conference tables from heat rings and water damage.
The bulk personalization workflow
Personalization at institutional scale is TurtleTales' operational strength versus corporate gifting vendors who source personalization externally. In-house laser engraving at our Bengaluru manufacturing partner facility enables two personalization surfaces per unit with reliable turnaround and quality control.
Personalization surface one — corporate logo on lid centre. The lid centre accommodates the corporate logo (single-colour laser engraving) at approximately 40mm diameter. Logo artwork should be supplied in vector format (.ai, .eps, or .svg). Complex multi-colour logos convert to single-colour engraved treatment; artwork approval is required before production begins. Standard turnaround for logo approval to production start is 3 to 5 working days.
Personalization surface two — employee name on mug side. Individual employee names are engraved in elegant serif typography on the mug side, approximately 30mm text width. The organization supplies the full employee name list in structured spreadsheet format (typically Excel or Google Sheets). Names are validated against a character set (English alphabetic, common Indian name characters, standard length limits) before production begins. Length limits: single names up to 12 characters, hyphenated or two-word names up to 16 characters total, longer names may require case-by-case review.
Production workflow. Order confirmation with volume specification, logo artwork approval, and full employee name list received. Sample production of 3 to 5 units for approval by client HR team (approximately 5 working days from order confirmation). Approved samples signed off, full production run scheduled (approximately 15 to 25 working days depending on volume band). Gift-ready packaging applied to production output (approximately 5 to 10 working days for volumes up to 1000 units). Distribution logistics to client-specified delivery point (typically 5 to 10 working days across Indian metro cities).
Total lead time from order confirmation to delivery-ready: approximately 6 to 8 weeks for standard corporate volumes. Larger volumes above 1000 units or premium presentation tiers may extend to 8 to 10 weeks.

Standard corporate gift presentation includes kraft gift box (matte-finish sustainable kraft board, approximately 15cm x 15cm x 12cm), corporate branding sleeve wrap (single-colour brand imprint on the outer sleeve, artwork supplied by client), jute twine tie, and BRSR Scope 3 documentation card included inside the box. This is the default presentation for corporate bulk orders.
Optional presentation upgrades for premium tiers. Premium kraft box with silk ribbon (adds Rs 60 to 120 per unit depending on volume). Two-mug paired set in larger presentation box for family-inclusive employee gifts (larger box specification, per-unit cost adjusted). Handwritten thank-you note from CEO or founder (adds Rs 40 to 80 per unit at 500+ volumes with volunteer network). Corporate mission statement print card included with the product (adds Rs 15 to 25 per unit). Sustainability impact certificate signed by TurtleTales founders documenting the specific procurement decision's carbon reduction versus ceramic baseline (adds Rs 30 to 50 per unit, included complimentary for orders above 1000 units).
Bulk pricing structure
Consumer retail price for VintageBrew starts at Rs 379 on TurtleTales.eco. This is the reference point for individual consumer purchase, not the corporate bulk pricing structure.
Corporate bulk pricing is quoted on request for each order. Pricing depends on volume band, personalization complexity (single-surface vs dual-surface), presentation tier (standard vs premium), and delivery timeline. Volume bands are approximately: 100 to 499 units (tier 1 corporate pricing), 500 to 999 units (tier 2 corporate pricing), 1000 to 4999 units (tier 3 institutional pricing), 5000+ units (tier 4 institutional pricing with custom production scheduling).
Per-unit corporate pricing across these tiers falls broadly within Rs 300 to Rs 550 per fully-personalized unit including standard kraft box presentation, with premium presentation tiers and multi-unit gift sets pricing higher. Exact quotes are provided within 3 working days of bulk enquiry submission with volume specification and personalization requirements.
The BRSR Scope 3 documentation package
Each corporate bulk order includes a Scope 3 documentation package suitable for inclusion in the client organization's BRSR sustainability report. The package documents the specific procurement decision's carbon footprint reduction versus ceramic baseline, quantified for the exact volume delivered. For a 1000-unit order, the documentation typically reports approximately 650 to 750 kg CO2e reduction versus equivalent ceramic procurement (based on our internal LCA at cradle-to-gate scope). The documentation also includes rice husk feedstock provenance (Karnataka/Andhra Pradesh rice mill partners), circular economy positioning (feedstock diverted from open burning), and material lifecycle documentation.
This documentation layer is a specific procurement-grade differentiation versus corporate gifting vendors who cannot supply institutional-grade sustainability documentation. For BRSR-mandated Nifty 1000 companies and for organizations with explicit CSR reporting requirements, the documentation package converts the Diwali gifting procurement from a marketing-expense line item into a documented low-carbon procurement decision that contributes to reported Scope 3 reduction targets.
The Diwali 2026 timeline commitment
Diwali 2026 is Saturday, November 1. Working backward from delivery-ready state at client organization: order confirmation deadline is September 15, 2026 for standard corporate volumes (100 to 1000 units) with standard kraft box presentation. September 1, 2026 for larger volumes (above 1000 units) or premium presentation tiers requiring additional production scheduling. August 15, 2026 for orders requiring highly customized presentation tiers or volumes above 5000 units.
Orders received after these deadlines are accepted but delivery before Diwali 2026 is not guaranteed. Orders confirmed by these deadlines carry TurtleTales' Diwali delivery commitment — if we are unable to deliver by Diwali due to production delays on our side, we absorb the delivery-timing risk (partial refund and priority next-year commitment).
Where VintageBrew + lid fits and does not fit
The honest positioning. VintageBrew + lid is the right specification for corporate Diwali gifting when the HR/CSR/marketing team wants durable daily-use engagement across the following year, personalization at institutional scale, coherent sustainability positioning with BRSR documentation, and per-unit budget in the Rs 300 to Rs 800 range. It fits well for HR employee gifts, marketing key-client gifts, and CSR partner gifts.
It is not the right specification when the team wants premium reception-moment aesthetics (silver, brass, or fine crystal produce stronger visual immediate impact), when the recipient population does not maintain daily hot beverage practices, when the procurement budget is below Rs 300 per unit at meaningful volumes, or when the executive-tier gift specification requires premium presentation elements beyond drinkware (in which case VintageBrew + lid may be part of a larger gift set rather than the primary element).
